History: Other than lions, giraffes don’t have much to fear when they reach adulthood. Their height lets them see an ambush from far away, and their legs can deliver powerful kicks. Their necks are also formidable weapons, especially when male giraffes fight with each other for the affections of a female.

Characteristics: Giraffes can easily be identified by their elongated necks, mosaic patterned fur, and their “ossiscones”, those skin-covered knobs atop their heads. This hand-painted giraffe figurine makes an excellent addition to any collection!
