Characteristics: This detailed and scientifically accurate alligator baby figure features the distinctive yellow bands along its body that mark it as a juvenile gator. As they grow, these bands fade, leaving the animal's scales more uniformly black in color. These yellow bands help to camouflage them in their home among the sawgrass.
